Requirements for application:

1. The applicant has to be a local of Qatar and must be holding a high school certificate.
2. For getting admission the applicant must be eligible for attending that course.
3. The applicant must not be receiving any other scholarship or sponsorship at that time or after that.

Conditions for Continuity of Scholarship:

1. The applicant has to graduate or complete his/her studies by the given time.
2. The applicant must be obedient and should take care of the rules and regulations of Qatar University.
3. Except for Summer/Winter semesters, the rest are counted.
4. The applicant must pay a penalty if he/she does something which would be against of terms and conditions.

Required Documents

The applicant does not need to submit any extra documents, except for admission.

2. Children of Qatar University Employees Scholarship

Qatar University employees have a privilege as this scholarship is particularly for their children. Every term Qatar university provides scholarships to three children.

Benefits: Exemption from tuition fees

Requirements for application:

1. The applicant must be a full-time worker at Qatar University
2. The applicant must be holding a high school certificate.
3. For getting admission the applicant must be eligible for attending that course.
4. The applicant must not be receiving any other scholarship or sponsorship at that time or after that.

Conditions for Continuity of Scholarship:

1. The applicant has to graduate or complete his/her studies by the given time.
2. The applicant must be obedient and should take care of the rules and regulations of Qatar University.
3. All of the terms would be counted in this scholarship except for summer and winter.
4. The applicant must pay a penalty if he/she does something which would be against of terms and conditions.

How to Apply

For applying, the applicant has to visit and submit an online admission application. The applicant is requested to submit pdf format of the following documents:

• If your mother is an employee, then submit a copy of your birth certificate.
• You should submit your parent’s id card copies.
• Have to submit a recent letter from which it would be verified whether the parents are employees :
  • The number of employees.
  • The job starting date and confirm whether the parent is full-time
  • Category of the employee

2. Evualation starts, once after the deadline has passed.
3. The applicants will be contacted to provide the documents required for obtaining the scholarship.

Other types of scholarships

1. Short Scholarships for the Arabic Program for Non-Native Program

This is another biggest opportunity, as not all of the students are native speakers of Arabic, therefore this scholarship is for those who can not read speak or write. This scholarship is for international students only. The entire process is conducted by the Scholarships and International admission section.

This scholarship is designed to learn Arabic to non-native speakers students from outside Qatar. The applicant can apply on his own, or else he/she can contact any collaborating organization with Qatar university to get nominated for this scholarship.

2. College of Education Diploma Scholarships

For the diploma program, Qatar university has this specific scholarship.

Benefits: Only your tuition fees exemption.

Requirements for application:

1. The applicant has to be eligible for the diploma program.
2. Should be working under any governmental educational organization.
3. The applicant must not have been holding any scholarship before, as this would be his/her first.

Conditions for Continuity of Scholarship:

1. The student has to maintain a minimum  GPA of 2.50 out of 4
2. The applicant has to graduate or complete his/her studies by the given time.
3. The applicant must be obedient and should take care of the rules and regulations of Qatar University.
4. The applicant must maintain the progress and follow the terms and conditions, or else the scholarship would be cancelled.
5. The applicant must pay a penalty if he/she does something which would be against of terms and conditions.

Required Documents:

1. A letter is required to prove that you are working under any governmental educational organization.
2. Need your identification, so you have to submit your id card or passport.
